Hello Ladies! So the other night I had a formal to attend. Felt gross, as usual I had nothing to wear. Kept thinking about all the fabulous dresses and killer heels all the ladies would be wearing. Dress after dress, skirt after skirt nothing was fitting or looking quite right.

Then it hit me....Pants! Why not? Ladies can look sexy in a pant suit. It screams confidence, power, and sophistication. The Skinny black dress pants from the gap, a sexy top, and a fitted black blazer was the perfect eye catcher of the night.

You want to be different ladies and still look sexy?! Go for the skinny dressy pant look. You certainly wont have to worry about your butts hanging out and you can get away with wearing flats in you would like. Yes, I was the only girl in the room with pants on....yet I was still a hottie patottie. Many compliments from men...so be daring and go for the pant suit! It's sexy and shows you are not afraid to stand out!!!!

Nutty Neon

NEON NEON NEON!! How can ya not love neon??!! Ever since a small child I have loved the bright highlighter colors! They look fabulous with black or white. Neon shades are great statement pieces to spice up an outfit.

Bathing suits, summer scarves, sunglasses, cardigans, tees, shorts, skirts, dresses, pants, shoes, nail polish, accessories, and pretty much anything else you can think of can act as your statement pieces.

Men in Shorts

Shorts are not only great for women, but men as well. They are comfortable and keep you cool. Guys, I would not recommend a night out on the town wearing shorts. Many places require pants. But if you are going a friend's place or pool party then knock yourself out.

Lets keep another thing in mind, lets not go too short in length. Although it's socially acceptable in some places, for the majority it is not. Save the leg for the bedroom boys! Also keep in mind that you don't want them too long either. If they are too long they may look like capris. We know women wear ankle pants and capris but that doesn't mean men should.

Gym shorts, plaid, khaki, chino, cargo, take your pick. Although denim shorts do exist I am not sure how I feel about them on men. It depends on the style, wash, and person wearing them. For the little kids they are adorable, but adults....in my eyes not so much.

Guys, I would recommend wearing shorts with boat shoes such as Sperrys, Tods, general loafers, maybe sneakers, flip flops if you have that cool factor to get away with the look. Boots-no way! Put the Tims away if your not hiking.

Short Shorts

Busy week sorry it has been a while. It's so beautiful out today so what more appropriate to discuss then shorts.

Shorts!! Warm weather is here! Ah the flowers are blooming, birds are chirping, and the sun is shining. How can anyone not love the warm spring and summer months?!

Wear shorts with wedges, flats, flops, heels, sneakers, and pretty much just about anything else you can think of.

Ladies show off those sexy legs! Shorts are great because they keep you cool, can be worn dressy or casual,  at the gym, and ya don't have to worry about flashing anyone if it's windy outside (haha).

There are a variety of styles and colors to choose from. Bermuda shorts, 3 inch, 5 inch, 9 inch, gym shorts, denim, high wasted, etc. This post is here to amp up short shorts of course! Ladies should show off what ya got, long slender legs, toned legs, bare it all.

Trade the mini skirt for a night out on the town in short shorts. Those that are more conservative not a problem; invest in a nice pair of black bermudas.

Juicy Jackets

Sorry I have been MIA for a few days..have been extremely busy at school.
Anyway, what better piece to add to your spring wardrobe than a light weight eye catching jacket! A jacket helps pull together an outfit adding character and a clean cut appearance.

Believe it or not I have actually witnessed a girl pull together her day outfit into a night outfit in a matter of seconds. Cute and trendy on a bar crawl in NYC with her Long Champ tote and flats, nightfall quickly approached. The group decided they wanted to continue our festivities in the nightclub scene but couldn't because of our cute yet casual attire. Out of nowhere this girl whips out a pair of heels and a tailored shrunken blazer from her tote. I was in shock yet amazed how quick a casual outfit was turned into a classy sophisticated get up in the middle of NYC in the matter of seconds. Oh how that jacket did wonders!!!

If i would recommend investing a spring piece to your closet collection of essentials it would be a jacket! It can do wonders for men and women! It can turn around a guy's graphic tee or polo from cute to ooo la la!! A jacket just pulls together an outfit and adds a sophisticated trend to your style. Not to mention keeps you warm if it's windy.

Warm weather months are quickly approaching and what better casual shoe to slip on then FLIP FLOPS!! They are comfy and cool to add to your casual style. There are so many options. Brands, colors, styles..the variety is endless.

Flip Flops are also a great way to get rid of that sock tan some of you have and a way to let those toes breathe. Ladies...make sure you get a pedicure!! Shades! Gotta love them!! They are and always will be my favorite accessory. It completes an outfit while protecting your eyes from the sun. You all may have be familiar with my post 'Go Big and Go Bold' but sunglasses are worthy of a second post!
